This project is a tropical solution for an urban generic site; a response to the constraints set by the context – the linearity of the site, its orientation and its relatively bland character. The project is a manifestation of our design philosophies culminating in a refined space that has an identity of its own. The side yard spaces, which are often narrow and left unutilized in such urban plots, were defined and brought into the interior. These side courtyards add to the essence of the house, creating an element of interest that engages the inhabitants in a dialogue with nature.
